Laquerlicious Winter Collection

Hey ladies!!! Today, I have four unreleased polishes from Laquerlicious' winter collection. Michelle, the owner and creator of Laquerlicious, sent me these amazing polishes to swatch and review for her. Laquerlicious is not a new indie to me. I have actually been building a decent collection the past couple months, and I have to say that every single one of the Laquerlicious polishes I own is unique in it's own way. The four polishes I have to share with you today are glitter packed jelly bases that you're going to love. Every polish had great coverage in one coat and no fishing for glitter was required. I applied both a glossy top coat and matte top coat to all polishes. I absolutely fell in love with the way theses polishes turned out with a matte top coat!

Shoveled Snow
A beautiful aqua blue polish jam packed with holo glitters in various shapes and sizes including large circles and small hexes. Absolute eye candy this is!!! I applied two coats of this polish.

Shown here is with a glossy top coat in artificial lighting.

I love this matte!

All Bundled Up
A gorgeous midnight blue based jelly packed with silver, copper, blue, and purple micro glitters. I absolutely looooveeed this one! It is beyond gorgeous in real life! I applied ONE generous coat of this polish.

Mittens or Gloves?
A deep purple/magenta polish filled with square glitters in various sizes and purple micro glitters. I said before that all of Michelle's polishes were unique in their own way, and this polish is exactly what i'm talking about! LOVE!!! I applied two coats of this polish.

Below Zero
A gorgeous dark teal polish filled with micro teal and maroon holo glitters thoughout. There's even small holo hexes and tiny bar glitters in there. This polish has so much depth, it's quite amazing! Below Zero is one of those polishes that makes you gasp when you first apply it! I used ONE generous coat.

My absolute favorite picture out of the bunch!

Overall, I loved everything about all four of these polishes. Each one is beautiful, unique, and perfect for the winter! If I had to choose my top two favorites, it would have to be All Bundled Up and Below Zero. Which one's your favorite?!

If you would like to check out Laquerlicious' etsy shop please click here or you can also find Michelle on Instagram (IG @creativenailchick) and Facebook. Polish Addict Nail Color Swatches

Hey ladies! Today, I have four Polish Addict Nail Color (PANC) swatches to share with you! Polish Addict Nail Color can be found on Instagram (IG polishaddictnailcolor) or on Facebook as well. Laura, the creator of PANC, was so generous to send me these lovely polishes to swatch for her. I'm so honored to do so! PANC polishes are amazing! The glitter bombs apply with so much ease and no fishing was required.

The White Queen, The Red Queen
An off white crelly filled with loads of gold shimmer and micro red glitters. So unique and elegant. Way more gorgeous IRL! I applied two coats plus topcoat. I love everything about this polish!

Taken in artificial lighting
The lighting in this picture is very bright and washes out the polish. The next picture is more color accurate.

Forces of Nature
Forces of Nature is a clear based glitter topper filled with a variety of glitters in different shapes and sizes. I applied two thin coats over two coats OPI You're Such a Budapest, plus top coat. This applied wonderfully! No fishing for glitter required here!

Zombie Unicorn
Zombie Unicorn is a glitter bomb filled with a variety of glitters including stars, bars, hexes, dots, and more. This is two coats over two coats of Sinful Colors Seaweed, plus topcoat. I wanted to pair this glitter bomb with a zombie-ish looking color, and I think Sinful Colors Seaweed compliments Zombie Unicorn quite well. Again, fantastic formula with no fishing required.

Robot & Monster
Robot & Monster is a pink/mauve crelly filled with a variety of glitters including large and small squares, hexes, dots, and more. This is two coats plus top coat. Formula did not disappoint! Out of the four, this is my favorite! I love the combination of glitters with the base color and also love the name! Robot & Monster is a quirky kids show on Nickelodeon. This use to be the only show that would calm my youngest son down when he was a baby! Although it's not the most appropriate show for kids, it is actually quite hilarious!

Here's two collages to recap the four PANC swatches.

Overall, I loved all four of these polishes but my two favorites are The White Queen, The Red Queen and Robot & Monster.  Which one's your favorite?!

Sweet Therapy Shop Body Boutique Nail Polish and Body Care Products

Hey there lovely ladies! Today, I have some amazing Sweet Therapy Shop Body Boutique Polishes and a Body Buffer to share with you. I discovered Sweet Therapy Shop Body Boutique on Instagram a couple of months ago. Tanaya, the creator and founder of Sweet Therapy Shop Body Boutique is one of the nicest girls I have met on IG. Tanaya's products are hand blended, organic, and vegan friendly. Not only does she make nail polish, she also creates luxurious body care products. Tanaya kindly sent me some samples to swatch and review for her for the second time. I will be sharing four polishes inspired by the hit TV series "Scandal" as well as two fall colors. I personally haven't watched the show "Scandel" before but I did hear good things about it.

A Scandalous Fall

 Oh Pope!
"A sexy red polish splashed with fine red & gold flecks."
Reached opacity in one coat but did two coats to even everything out. Added a top coat to this as well. I know red polish is not for everyone, but I love wearing red. And if you're a red lover, this one is no exception for you! Great formula, easy application, and fast dry time. It was really hard to capture the fine red and gold flecks.

Gladiator in a Skirt
"A silver holographic polish with silver micro glitters."
This is two coats plus topcoat. The holo in this polish is pretty subtle and is more visible IRL.  Good formula again, very easy to apply.  I don't have anything in my collection like this!

The holo can be seen on my pinky nail in this photo.

Pink Melody
"A magenta polish with pink shimmer."
This is two buttery coats plus top coat. I really love this one! It's simple yet elegant. Formula was fantastic too. Again, it was hard to capture the shimmer but was more visible IRL.

You can see more of the fine pink shimmer in the sunlight.

Pining for Love
"A rich deep purple polish with holographic effects."
This is the last swatch of the Scandalous Fall Collection. I noticed this polish had a different look with and without a top coat. I will show pictures of both with and without a top coat so you can see the difference. Reached opacity in one coat but again applied two to even things out. This polish is absolutely stunning! Fantastic formula again with smooth application. For some reason my camera altered the color of this polish, making it look more blurple than purple. It's way more purple IRL!

Shown is two coats, no top coat.
The holographic effect is more visible without a top coat IMO.

Do you see the difference?

This is my favorite photo of Pining for Love!
This is also the most color accurate photo out of the four.

Overall, I really enjoyed this entire collection. All of the polishes had wonderful formulas and great coverage with the first coat. Out of the four, my absolute favorite is Pining for Love! What's your favorite?

Next up, I have two more fall colors to share with you all!

Aria
"A brown polish with golden tone, mixed with gold and copper micro glitters."
I applied two coats with two coats of top coat. This polish had a bit of a bumpy appearance, making it look almost textured. I actually like it because I am a fan of textured polish. Formula was great and very easy to apply. The color of this polish is quite unique. I for sure don't own anything in my collection like it. It's a perfect fall color too.

Moroccan Moon
"A deep merlot colored polish with gold micro glitters."
This is two beautiful coats plus top coat. Moroccan moon applied like a dream! I automatically thought of red wine with this one. In fact, it made me want to drink a glass. I think this would be a perfect polish to wear on a night out, either on a date or a ladies night. The gold and copper micro glitters compliment the merlot base nicely.

Just Gorgeous!!

Here's a little recap of my swatches in no particular order.

Lastly, Tanaya was so kind to send me a body care product sample that hasn't been released in her shop yet.

Sweet Therapy Body Buffer
Sweet Amor
"A creamy blend of shea butter, organic sugar, and vitamin E"
Tanaya recommended to wet your skin prior to using this product.
This body buffer works great on your skin, hands, or cuticles.

So, I took Tanaya's advice and ran my hands under water then applied the body buffer to my fingers, focusing on my cuticles. I just rinsed it off after massaging it on my cuticles, without using soap. I did this about two times a day for the past five days. I absolutely love it!!!!! I use it in conjunction with lemony flutter, and my cuticles have been feeling so soft and smooth. It doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy either. Did I mention it smells heavenly too?! I love how the smell is not over powering as well.

I'm pretty amazed with this body buffer. I'll be adding this to my daily regimen of cuticle care. I would definitely recommend this product!

Overall, the Sweet Therapy Shop Polishes and Body Buffer are all amazing!!! I love all of the polishes, but I would have to say my top three favorites are Pining for Love, Oh Pope!, and Moroccan Moon. Which one's your favorite?!

Indie Nail Polish Swatches on Instagram

I am so excited to finally start blogging! This is something I have thought long and hard about, and I am really happy I decided to take the next step. Little did I know when starting my nail polish account on Instagram, I would become this hooked on nail polish! So I wanted to share a little recap of some of the posts I have shared on Instagram. My Instagram name is @paintedbyjess.

I believe I started my nail account on IG this past April. I post mostly swatches but do some nail art occasionally. Here are some swatches I did recently and some a couple months ago.

First up are swatches of an indie nail polish line called Bliss Polish (Instagram @blisspolish). I am so grateful to be a swatcher or better yet bliss babe of this indie line. Bliss Polish was created by the lovely Yvette just this past August. Since then, Yvette has been able to successfully release 5 collections!!!!!! How awesome is that?! And not only are her polishes beautiful and of great quality, Yvette's customer service is second to none!
